Q1 What are the valid identity proofs that I need to carry?

Basically, you need to carry an authentic government-issued address ID proof that includes your photo with your address. Some of the valid ID proofs are - 

● Passport

● Aadhar card 

● Voter ID card

● Driving license

Q2 How to change my account information?

You can easily update your details in your account by visiting the website using your mobile number and click on the "profile ", fill up the required information, and click on save. 

Q3 Are there any facilities to store my baggage in the room?

Yes, definitely. All our rooms are well-maintained along with spacious cupboards provided to keep your baggage properly. Not just that, our rooms come with an additional feature of a safety locker.

Q4 What are the various payment modes available while booking via the BOOK YOUR OWN website?

There are various payment modes available such as credit card, net - banking, debit card, etc. Also, you will get an option to pay at the hotel directly. 

Q5 What should I do if I face any problem while checking in or out or during my stay?

Don't panic. We offer 24x7 customer assistance service to our residents. You just need to call us on our helping number, and our team will make sure to resolve your issues as soon as possible.

Q6 Where do I get the invoice for my stay?

You can get your invoice from the hotel during checkout. Just make sure you collect it at the hotel before leaving. 

Q7 I want to increase/decrease the number of rooms in my booking. How can I do that?

Always remember that discounted bookings can't be altered. All other booking modifications can be done before check-in through our helpline number. But, we won't be able to modify last moment changes like reductions in the number of rooms as it would lead to cancellation charges as per cancellation policy.

Q8 How do I get refunds processed for cancelled bookings?

After the booking is cancelled, the amount will get refunded automatically in your account within 7-12 working days only if you have done a prepaid booking. And, if you don't get your refunded amount within the given timeframe then you can get in touch with our 24×7 guest support helpline.

Q9 How can I get my payment voucher for my stay?

The payment voucher will be sent to your registered Email ID once you check out. You can even request it through our website in case you have missed it. 

Q10 Does the booking include lunch/dinner as well?

You will definitely get a complimentary breakfast with the booking. But except breakfast, all other meals are chargeable as per the rates mentioned.

Q11 What other amenities can I expect in BOOK YOUR OWN hotels ?

You will get all the basic requirements starting from Ac rooms to free wifi, hygienic bathrooms to spotless linen, Toiletries kit to complimentary breakfast. Apart from this, you will find a 24×7 help desk to help you will all your queries, the housekeeping staff, and attached washrooms.

Q12 How can I book more than 3 rooms ( bulk booking )?

For bulk booking, you can reach out to our helpline number. Also, you need to make an advance payment of 25% of the total booking amount to confirm the bookings. 

Q13 Do you provide an extra bed in all your rooms?

In most of our hotels, if necessary, we can arrange for an extra bed at an extra charge. However, this is liable to maximum permissible occupancy of the said room type. 

Q14 Will I get parking space at your hotels?

Most of our hotels come with enough parking space. However, for information regarding a particular hotel, you can go to the hotel information page and get specific information. 

Q15 How do prepaid bookings differ from the pay at hotel option?

 In the case of prepaid bookings, you make the payment at the time of booking and you can book as many rooms as possible. On the other hand, 'pay at hotel' allows you to pay when you reach the hotel, however, you can only book a maximum of 3 rooms. 

Q16 Can I modify my discounted bookings?

No, we currently don't allow any modifications on a discounted booking. You can neither shorten the booking nor modify the location. What you can do is cancel and then re-book. The refund will be made as per our cancellation policy. 

Q17 How do I extend my booking?

Extension of any booking can be easily done depending on the availability at the hotel. You can reach out to our guest support helpline for any extension-related issues. However, this shall be subject to an extra tariff as per the duration.

Q18 Why are the extension prices different from the original room fee at which the booking was made?

At our hotels, the prices are subject to changes depending on the supply and demand. Therefore, the extension you make is subject to availability, and a new tariff shall be applied accordingly. 

Q19 Can a visitor check in if the name on the ID does not match the booking name?

The hotels generally do not permit check-in if the name on the ID proof and the one on the booking confirmation receipt is different. 

Q20 Does the booking incorporate lunch and dinner as well?

We provide our customers with complimentary breakfast with the booking. However, meals other than breakfast shall be charged depending on the rates at the particular residence.

Q22 How do I get the password for the wifi?
