Travel guidelines for different tour destinations vary depending upon the time of the year you're planning to visit. So as a visitor, you should obey all the laws and guidelines.
Keep in mind that the guest policies are particular to the booking you do. Once you check in, the hotel staff will enlighten you about the different policies.

For the primary guests to check into the hotel, they must be at least 18 years of age.
The standard check-in time at hotels is usually 12 PM. Booking with our BYO website ensures that you can check in even after the standard time. But that's only until your registration is valid.
According to the government laws, it's mandatory to carry a valid photo ID by everyone aged 18 or above staying at the hotel. It's required at the time of check-in. The ID proofs accepted in most of the hotels are Voter ID Card, Aadhar Card, Passport, and Driving License. PAN card is usually not acceptable at hotels. Also, note that you won't be allowed to check-in without an original copy of valid ID proof.
Once you reach the hotel, it's possible to face problems while you check in. In that case, seek help from the hotel staff. And if it's still not resolved, contact BYO immediately. We will verify the issue with the hotel and provide you proper assistance. In such a case, you can expect the following solutions from us:
We will try to arrange rooms for you in the same hotel.
If we don't find a similar accommodation, we will provide you different alternatives in their other listed properties.
If we aren't able to find an alternate option or you don't accept the given option, then we may provide you a full refund.
We will not be responsible for any reimbursement other than your booking payment.
Unless it's mentioned specifically, BYO should not be held responsible for any refund regarding the booking amount. It is applicable in case of a shortage of rooms during natural calamities, terrorist attacks, government rules, or any other activity that's beyond our control.
The standard check-in time may vary in different hotels, but it's usually 12 PM. Also, the early check-in option may or may not be available in certain hotels. Extra charges for early check-in apply as per the below policies-
If you check in before 6 AM- 100% charges for one day must be paid. It is as per the room rate for the previous day.
If you check in between 6 AM and 10 AM- 0% to 30% charges must be paid as per the rate of the room for the previous day. It totally depends on the hotel policy.
If you check in between 10 AM and 12 PM- Free of charge.
On the day of early check-in, you won't receive a free breakfast.
The standard check-out time is usually 11 AM, but it varies from hotel to hotel. The late check-out option may or may not be available as it cannot be confirmed by the hotel in advance. Extra charges for late check-out apply as per the below policies-
If you check out between 11 AM and 1 PM- Free of charge.
If you check out between 1 PM and 5 PM- Up to 30% of the charges must be paid as per the rate of the room. It depends upon the hotel policy.
If you check out after 5 PM- 100% of the room rate must be paid for the day.
You can always cancel your room bookings through our website.
We usually credit the applicable refund amount to you within 7-14 business days.
For corporate bookings, refer to the cancellation policy mentioned on your contract.
If there isn't any cancellation policy mentioned on the Hotel's website, then the following policies may apply-
For bookings of up to three rooms.
Room cancellation before 9 AM on the check-in date- Full refund.
Room cancellation after 9 AM on the check-in date- One night's booking amount is deducted as a cancellation fee.
No check-in: If you don't arrive at the hotel, then the charges for the first night are subtracted from the refund amount.
Mid-stay cancellation: If you decide to shorten your stay after you check in, then there will be a cancellation fee. As a result, you'll be charged for one extra night.
For bookings of four or more rooms.
To book four or more rooms, you must pay at least 25% of the total booking amount in advance.
Cancellation of rooms 30 days before check-in date- Full refund.
Cancellation between 16 to 30 days of check-in date- 12.5% of the total booking amount is deducted as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation in less than 15 days of check-in date- 25% of the total booking amount is deducted.
No check-in: In case you don't arrive at the hotel, 25% of the booking amount is deducted from your refund money.
Mid-stay cancellation: If you decide to shorten your stay at the hotel, then no refunds are applicable in this case.
For a child of up to 5 years of age, stay is absolutely free of charge without any use of an extra mattress.
However, breakfast charges may apply.
If you're going to have visitors while your stay in the hotel, then you must confirm the visitor policy with the hotel.
To maintain the peace of the hotels and the privacy of their guests, we encourage hotels to have a proper visitor policy where-
Guests are allowed to have visitors during the daytime. They can meet in the guest rooms. However, during an emergency, these rules can change.
Visitors cannot stay overnight.
All visitors need to provide a valid photo ID proof to the hotel receptionist to access the guest rooms/floors.
Consumption of Alcohol is restricted in all public areas of the hotel, including the lobby, corridors, and parking lots.
For drinking alcoholic beverages inside your room, you must contact the hotel receptionist. Make sure to not break the rules of the hotel or disturb other guests.
Some hotels may not allow you to smoke in their guest rooms, so it's advised to check with the hotel receptionist.
No guest is allowed to use illegal drugs or substances mentioned under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. If anyone is found breaking this rule, then they will be immediately reported to the police.
One must follow the fire safety and emergency response procedures as guided by the hotel staff.
Neither BYO nor hotels are responsible for your lost, damaged, or stolen belongings.
BYO will contact you anytime before your check-in date to make sure of your arrival. It's done either through calls or messages. After multiple attempts, if we do not hear any response from you, then your booking will either be canceled or put on hold. We will restore your booking once you contact us back or make a payment via our safe payment options. However, it's only possible when the rooms are available.
We grow through feedback from our guests. We always strive for improvement, so we may reach out to you asking for you to share your experience through calls or messages.
If we have offers for you, then we might contact you.
We only collect payments through secure BYO gateways and affiliated OTA payment portals. None of our employees, consultants, or associates are permitted to collect payments in any other form.
Any occurrence where payments are being collected through other unauthorized portals (the ones that are not mentioned above) is considered an act of fraud. Coming across such instances and acting on them are totally your calls. BYO will not be held responsible for any loss due to such events.
We work with different hotel partners to provide you a comfortable stay. And we understand that you may experience problems while booking hotel rooms or during your stay. So that's why we provide complete support to our clients. If your issues are not resolved by the hotel during your stay, then you may contact BYO for help. However, no complaint will be entertained after you check out.
